The Barn Foundation was created in early 2012 with a mission to help charities within the local area. This is a public foundation and it has been formed with the specific intention of hosting fundraising events at The Barn located at Cedar Point, on the shores of Georgian Bay. The owners of The Barn had hosted a number of fundraising events over the years with great success, but decided to form a foundation to give them the ability to help a broader spectrum of charities. For example, those unable to provide the administrative or organizational effort to mount such events.
